“Today… they call us… Africa
A name not given by us
The people of the land itself

But we are:
The Mother of Mankind
The Cradle of Humanity
The Home of Civilization
The Garden of Eden
The Land of the Blacks
We are… Alkebulan”

BECOMING ALKEBULAN

“Alkebulan” symbolizes a profound cultural reclamation, signifying a return to the diverse traditions and languages that have thrived on the continent for centuries. By reclaiming this indigenous name:

  • Africans assert their authenticity and sovereignty, rejecting colonial legacies of exploitation and cultural erasure associated with the name “Africa.”
  • Embracing “Alkebulan” fosters unity and Pan-Alkebulanism, transcending artificial borders and divisions to promote solidarity among Alkebulan’s peoples.
  • Moreover, this name change represents an act of empowerment and self-determination, affirming the right of Alkebulans to shape their own narrative and assert their place on the global stage with pride and dignity.

PLAYING YOUR PART

Let us build our continent in our image – not in the image of others, but in the image of our dreams, aspirations, and collective identity. For it is only by shaping Alkebulan with our own hands, hearts, and minds that we can truly realize its boundless potential and beauty.
